Easter brings back memories of living in Israel when I was in my teens. I remember sitting in services at the Garden Tomb and looking at the empty tomb. The garden was so beautiful, and the tomb was so empty – nothing was there! Jesus was not there! The empty tomb gives us hope of a life with Christ now and in the future. Hope is what Easter means to me. The empty tomb reminds me of Jesus’ immeasurable love for us all. John 3:16 says “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” NLT. This is my prayer for everyone who reads this today: I pray that God, the source of HOPE, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident HOPE through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 NLT.
This is my prayer today: Psalm 39:7 NLT And so, Lord, where do I put my HOPE? My only HOPE is in you. Amen
