“Your life is a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness of God. It cost God plenty to get you out of that dead-end, empty-headed life you grew up in. He paid with Christ’s sacred blood, you know. He died like an unblemished, sacrificial lamb. And this was no afterthought. Even though it has only lately—at the end of the ages—become public knowledge, God always knew he was going to do this for you. It’s because of this sacrificed Messiah, whom God then raised from the dead and glorified, that you trust God, that you know you have a future in God.” (1 Peter 1:18-21, MSG)
Every single one of us is on a journey in life. The journey is full of ups, downs, twists, and turns. Peter teaches that we must travel this journey with a deep consciousness of God. To put it plainly, know that God is with you, regardless of wherever…and through whatever…your journey takes you.
This is important, because your ultimate destination is secured in heaven thanks to Jesus. God purchased your salvation with the precious blood of Christ to establish your future in God. You can trust God in this, taking it much farther than to the bank, because God is journeying with you to the place where the streets are paved with gold!

Know He is there, and trust Him along the way, for your eternal future is secure regardless of wherever…and through whatever…your journey takes you.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for being with me every step of my life journey. I trust you, and ask your help to remember you’re with me wherever, and through whatever, that journey takes me. I ask this in Jesus’ holy name. Amen!
