Jesus is Always with You

By Mary Stout

Just think—you don’t need a thing, you’ve got it all! All God’s gifts are right in front of you as you wait expectantly for our Master Jesus to arrive on the scene for the Finale. And not only that, but God himself is right alongside to keep you steady and on track until things are all wrapped up by Jesus. God, who got you started in this spiritual adventure, shares with us the life of his Son and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you. Never forget that. (1 Corinthians 1:7-9 MSG)
My pastor often tells us that when we have Jesus that is enough. He walks alongside us as we go through life.
When we are happy and joyful He is right there with us. He is clapping His hands and cheering us on. He is singing over us as we rejoice. He probably even does the snoopy happy dance when he sees us serving others, helping, and sharing his love.
When we struggle and we are sad or anxious, He is right alongside us as well, He encourages us to carry on and keep going. Loving us as we cry. He collects our tears and soothes our weariness when we pray. He carries us through the mud and muck of life and brings us to the peaceful shore. I bet His heart hurts when we cry. When we feel weak, He shows His strength. Here’s the thing: He never gives up on us. Ever.
Everything that we have—right thinking and right living, a clean slate and a fresh start—comes from God by way of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:30 MSG
He loves you so immensely He sent His son to die for you so keep going. Don’t stop. Run into his arms. Rest and let Him take care of you. Trust in His grace and love to be with you in the joyful times and the sad times.
Prayer: Thank you Lord for being my rock in every area of my life. Help me be a blessing to others just as you bless me. Keep me on your straight path and may my walk honor you each day. In Jesus name, Amen
