He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? (
Do you believe that God has your best interest at heart? Do you believe that God wants the best for you? Do you believe that God wants you to succeed? Why do I ask? Because many people will answer yes to those questions, but then live in a way as if they don’t believe it.
Imagine asking someone if they believed a particular chair would hold them up. Then after they responded that they did, you asked them to sit down in that chair. If they refused, would you conclude that they didn’t actually believe it would? The point I am trying to make is that our actions should align with what we say we believe.
God gave His most valuable gift, His Son, for us. Why would we ever even entertain the idea that He would not graciously give us all things?
Praye: Loving Lord, thank you for loving me beyond measure. I trust you and will walk through this day in a way that reflects the faith I claim to have.
