“For nothing is impossible with God.” (Luke 1:37, NLT)
Today’s verse is one that provides hope for many people. When you feel or fear that something is impossible, remember the promise that nothing is impossible for God.
Audrey Hepburn is known for a neat quote using a play on words. She said, “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says, ‘I’m possible.’” Clever huh? When you apply that context to the power of God — and deconstruct the contraction — you get, “I am possible.” Remember: I AM is the name God have for Himself to Moses at the burning bush (Exodus 3:14).
Do you feel or fear you face something impossible today? You don’t. Give it to God, and let Him turn your impossible into something altogether different; after all, He wants you to remember ‘I AM possible.’
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for turning the impossible possible. Forgive me the times, many as they may be, where I forget that nothing is impossible with You. I lift this prayer, and rest in the care, of your holy Son and my Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
